In the beginning, Seccuris was founded by technically focused professionals who wanted to create a new approach to information security, risk management, and secure business operations.

Today, we are North America’s premier Information Assurance Integrator assisting organizations across the globe protect their businesses as they grow.

Moving forward, we will continue to meet the Information Assurance challenges of real-time transactions that impact organizations and consumers around the world.

1999 Seccuris is founded by Michael Legary and partners
2001 Seccuris launches the Citadel – Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technology 
2002 Seccuris Labs is formally established and fosters evolution of the FreeBSD Mandatory Access Control (MAC) framework. Early industry contributions include developing an international digital forensics scoping methodology and IDS sensor and signature research for Fortune 100 networks
2003 Branham ranks Seccuris in Top 25 Up & Coming IT Companies in Canada list
2004 Canada’s first commercial, full-service digital forensics lab is established at Seccuris
2005 Honeynet Project recognizes Seccuris at the ECCE Digital Forensics Conference for significant advancements in digital anti-forensics research
2006 Seccuris acquires Qanda Networks

Seccuris opens Regina, SK office

Seccuris officially launches SABSA Enterprise Security Architecture consulting and training

TRLabs enters a strategic partnership with Seccuris to conduct joint research

Michael Legary is named the Ernst & Young 2010 Prairies Entrepreneur of the Year
